government scheme list name check 2026
Master hub: one reference to check your name on every major Indian government scheme list — PM-Kisan, Ayushman, PMAY, Ujjwala, E-Shram, ration card, SECC 2011, state schemes, and more. Bookmark this page.
If you’ve applied to even one government scheme, you’ve asked the question: “Is my name in the list?” It’s the single most-searched query across Indian government service websites — and yet there’s no single authoritative place that collects every “check your name” link. This guide is that place.
Before we dive in, remember three rules:
.gov.in / .nic.in / official portal domains. Many lookalike sites charge for “checking” — all checks are free on official portals.Every state has its own NFSA portal. Here are the main ones:
| State | Portal |
|---|---|
| Uttar Pradesh | fcs.up.gov.in |
| Maharashtra | mahafood.gov.in |
| Bihar | epds.bihar.gov.in |
| Madhya Pradesh | nfsa.samagra.gov.in |
| Rajasthan | food.rajasthan.gov.in |
| Karnataka | ahara.kar.nic.in |
| Tamil Nadu | tnpds.gov.in |
| Andhra Pradesh | epdsap.ap.gov.in |
| Telangana | epds.telangana.gov.in |
| Kerala | civilsupplieskerala.gov.in |
| Gujarat | dcs-dof.gujarat.gov.in |
| Odisha | pdsodisha.gov.in |
| West Bengal | wbpds.gov.in |
| Chhattisgarh | khadya.cg.nic.in |
| Jharkhand | aahar.jharkhand.gov.in |
| Punjab | foodsuppb.gov.in |
| Haryana | saralharyana.gov.in |
| Delhi | nfs.delhi.gov.in |
| Assam | fcsca.assam.gov.in |
| Uttarakhand | fcs.uk.gov.in |
| Himachal Pradesh | hpepds.nic.in |
| Goa | goacivilsupplies.gov.in |
| Meghalaya / Mizoram / Nagaland / etc. | State-specific Civil Supplies sites |
Every state has women’s scheme lists, farmer benefit lists, scholarship lists, pension lists on its respective portal. General pattern:

These are common scams as of 2026:
Never share your OTP. Official helplines ask for name, DOB, village — never OTP. If anyone asks for OTP, hang up.
Legitimate sources don’t send unsolicited SMS with links. Always manually type the official URL into your browser.
All status checks are free on official portals. Any site charging for a check is a scam.
No scheme requires an agent. If yours does, you’re at a non-government site. Use only official portals.
Approval is based on eligibility criteria alone, not on paid intermediaries. Paying an agent will not change your eligibility.
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| “Your name is not in the list” | Registration not done, or rejected | Re-apply / re-verify via relevant scheme |
| OTP not received | Aadhaar mobile inactive or wrong number | Update mobile at Aadhaar Seva Kendra |
| “Invalid Aadhaar” | Typo or old Aadhaar number | Retype carefully; use recent e-Aadhaar |
| “Account inactive” on DBT check | Bank Aadhaar-NPCI link broken | Visit bank → re-seed Aadhaar NPCI |
| Status shows “Pending” for months | State-level verification delay | Follow up at Panchayat/Block office |
| Portal down / loading slow | Server-side issue | Try at off-peak hours (early morning or late night) |

Often not — more commonly your application was rejected for a fixable reason (Aadhaar-bank mismatch, exclusion criteria, address mismatch) or you never applied. Re-apply through the relevant portal or visit your Gram Panchayat for help.
No. Never. Official government helplines never ask for your OTP. Anyone asking is a scammer — hang up the call.
Yes. All checks on official .gov.in and .nic.in portals are free. Any site charging a fee is not official.
Yes, but you need their Aadhaar-linked mobile for the OTP. Government portals are strictly OTP-verified, not password-based.
For ongoing schemes like PM-KISAN or Ujjwala subsidy, once every 3 to 4 months is enough. For one-time schemes like Ayushman card or SSY, check after application and only if a benefit is missed.
