- Not excluded from PM-KISAN (i.e., not income-tax payer, institutional landholder, MP/MLA family, etc.)
Who doesn’t qualify
- Farmers not in the PM-KISAN list
- Non-Maharashtra residents (even if they farm in MH — must have MH domicile)
- Anyone excluded from PM-KISAN is automatically excluded from Namo Shetkari

Since enrolment is automatic through the PM-KISAN database, you typically don’t submit documents separately. However, if you need to fix your record:
- Aadhaar card
- Bank passbook (Aadhaar-seeded Maharashtra account)

- Maharashtra domicile (needed only for dispute resolution)

No, usually not. The state government periodically pulls the PM-KISAN beneficiary list for Maharashtra, verifies via the NSMNY backend at nsmny.mahait.org, and credits the installment directly.
When you DO need to take action
- Your PM-KISAN status is “Suspended” — first get it re-activated through pmkisan.gov.in
- Your bank’s Aadhaar-NPCI link is broken — fix at your bank branch (most common cause of missing installments)
- You recently moved to Maharashtra — update your address in PM-KISAN first; then Namo Shetkari enrolment follows
- Your state records show you as a non-farmer — correct land records via your talathi / tehsildar

Do I need to apply separately for Namo Shetkari Yojana?

I received PM-KISAN installment but not Namo Shetkari — why?

Is there any land-size or income cap for Namo Shetkari?
The scheme inherits PM-KISAN’s eligibility. All Maharashtra PM-KISAN beneficiaries qualify regardless of land size, excluding income-tax payers and institutional holders.
Can I claim missed Namo Shetkari installments retrospectively?
No. If you were not enrolled at the time of an installment, you do not receive it retrospectively. Once enrolled, you receive all future installments.
