What is the age limit for KMUT?
21 years minimum. No upper age limit as of 2026. Elderly women can enroll; those above 60 often also qualify for old-age pensions.
Can I hold KMUT along with other monthly schemes?
Yes, if the other scheme is non-cash (Ujjwala, PMAY) or below ₹1,000/month cash. Another ₹1,000+ monthly cash scheme disqualifies.
My husband works outside Tamil Nadu. Am I eligible?
