New Voter Registration — Step by Step

Option 1: voters.eci.gov.in (recommended)

Fill personal details (name, father’s name, DOB, gender, place of birth)
Enter current address + select Assembly Constituency (auto-suggested from address)

FAQ — Common Questions

I’m 17 years old. Can I apply now? Yes — you can apply from age 17+ but your name is added to rolls only from your 18th birthday (or the immediate next qualifying date). Early registration ensures you can vote on your first eligible election.
