चिरंजीवी स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना राजस्थान 2026: ₹25 लाख तक मुफ्त इलाज
Quick facts: Up to ₹25 lakh cashless treatment per family per year · free registration for NFSA beneficiaries, ₹850/year premium for voluntary enrollment · Rajasthan-wide empanelled hospitals · portal chiranjeevi.rajasthan.gov.in · now aligned with Ayushman Bharat.
Launched on 1 May 2021 by the Rajasthan government, the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana was one of India’s most generous state-level health coverage programmes. In 2023 the cover was raised from ₹10 lakh to ₹25 lakh per family per year, and in 2024 the programme was aligned with Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY under the current state administration — creating a combined flagship known in daily use as Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. The underlying coverage and portal remain accessible; here’s what every Rajasthan family needs to know.

- Most major private hospitals in Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer are empanelled
- In remote areas, the nearest district hospital (government) is always empanelled
Pro tip: before going for surgery, call the hospital’s Arogya Mitra to confirm your package is active and get the pre-authorization number.
अगर अस्पताल इलाज नहीं कर रहा — If a Hospital Refuses Cashless
This is a policy violation. Escalation steps:
- Call the state toll-free helpline while still at the hospital
- Provide your Jan Aadhaar + hospital name + doctor name
- The State Health Authority (SHA) contacts the hospital directly
- If resolved, treatment proceeds. If not, the SHA can penalize the hospital.
- File a formal grievance on Rajasthan Sampark (181 or sampark.rajasthan.gov.in)
Do not pay and hope for reimbursement — get the cashless enforcement while you’re still at the hospital.

Integration with Ayushman Bharat
Since 2024, Rajasthan has aligned Chiranjeevi with Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY — if you hold a PM-JAY card, you benefit from the Chiranjeevi expansion (up to ₹25 lakh in Rajasthan hospitals); if you hold a Chiranjeevi card, you can use PM-JAY’s nationwide hospital network. This portability is significant when traveling or receiving care outside Rajasthan.
FAQ — Common Questions
My ₹25 lakh cover includes — how is it counted? It’s per-family, per-financial-year. The full ₹25 lakh can be used on a single member or split across the family’s medical events. It resets on 1 April of each financial year.
Can I use Chiranjeevi outside Rajasthan? For empanelled PM-JAY hospitals nationwide, yes — after the 2024 alignment, portability is supported. For non-PMJAY hospitals in other states, Chiranjeevi alone doesn’t apply; use PM-JAY network.
What if I miss the premium renewal (voluntary)? Coverage lapses. You need to pay ₹850 and renew at eMitra; coverage restarts after 24-48 hours. No retroactive coverage for events during the lapse.
Is pregnancy and delivery covered? Yes — routine and C-section deliveries, maternal complications, and neonatal care are all covered under the relevant packages.
Does ₹25 lakh cover cosmetic or dental work? No. Cosmetic, routine dental (except medically indicated), fertility treatment (some exceptions), and illnesses arising from self-harm are excluded.
My pre-existing kidney disease — covered from day one? Yes. There’s no waiting period; pre-existing conditions are covered from day one of enrollment. This is a defining feature of state-sponsored schemes like Chiranjeevi/PM-JAY.
